Revisiting Nintendogs
Nintendogs! I’ve been sitting on this video for a while. I was waiting on a Nintendo 3DS with a capture card to fall into my possession, and one finally did, so here we are! I just always felt that this game would be better not emulated, it deserves the use of proper hardware. I made my Tomodachi Life video with the help of CFW in the 3DS, but the frame-dipping was a huge headache. I vowed to never try to make another 3DS video like that ever again.
But, since I have a 3DS with a capture card, I was finally free to do what I wanted, which is to essentially play the game how God intended. My goal lately has been to be informative, thorough, and entertaining. I’m certainly not trying to bore people to death with video game knowledge, but I tend to do that. Or I’ll run through the story too much and have little to no new information to give, or not crack enough jokes. I want to keep improving on that, and I found that spending more time on videos is helping me make them better- wow, what a concept.
We were supposed to release the last Sims video this month, but holy cow did I lose track of time for that one! I hate having to move videos up and reschedule things, but truthfully, it will be so worth it. The editor that I work with on a lot of these videos, Lissa, is in town and staying with me for a week! I wanted to make sure I wasn’t working too much, and if I was trying to push the handheld Sims video out this month, I would be a terrible host.
I’ll have more to say in my next blog post, I’m out of time at the moment and want to spend time with my lovely editor friend. But stay tuned! My next two videos are the Sims on handheld and my Stardew Valley update playthrough. It’s gonna be epic.
